Pricing

All Travel Japan Market Place prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST.

Should you be purchasing from overseas, please note prices will be charged in Australian Dollars.
 

Products

Some products may list the ingredients and allergens in English on the import sticker.

However, some products may only list the ingredients and allergens in the original language on the package when you receive it.

In this case we do not offer any kind of translation service, so we strongly advise you to not purchase any unfamiliar product if you have allergies to any of the 9 common allergens which include peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, sesame seeds, fish, shellfish, soy and wheat.

We cannot take any responsibility for allergen issues nor we do not accept any return or refunds.  

We are more than happy to take requests should you have some favourite Japanese snacks that we don't stock, in this instance please contact us via the contact form.

However please note that due to strict Australian Bio Security laws, some products are impossible to obtain and import.

If we are able to import them and they are not part of a shipment we already have on the way, the wait time will take a minimum of 3 months.

If you are wanting to recieve free products to taste and review, we request you send an email to info@traveljapan.com.au with the following information;

  • Full name and location
  • Links to your social media channels
  • Any relevant past reviews you've done
  • Why you would like to work with us

Returns

All products are carefully assessed and packed by our team prior to shipping. 

As our products are perishable, we do not accept any return or refund on any products so please choose carefully.

Travel Japan Market Place cannot be held responsible for any temperature-related damage caused during shipping. 

Please be mindful when ordering products such as chocolate which can easily melt during the warmer months. If the temperature in your location is above 28°C, the products may melt in transit.

As per our refund policy, no returns or refunds are accepted due to all items being perishable.  

Shipping

Travel Japan Market Place shipping fees depending on the weight of your order and location, this will be automatically calculated at the time of check-out.  

  • Small Box - $9.95
  • Medium Box - $12.95
  • Large Box - $15.95

Travel Japan Market Place will do our best to have your snacks dispatched within 2 business days.

However, the delivery time depends on our courier partners, and usually takes between 2 - 7 business days within Australia. Please note there are currently delays beyond our control due to Covid-19.

For International Shipping, the estimated delivery time varies depending on your location zone: 

  • Zone 1: New Zealand (10-20 or more business days)
  • Zone 2: North America, Western Europe, Asia, and the Pacific (21-28 or more business days)
  • Zone 3: Rest of the world (25-30 or more Business days)

Please note we currently only ship to New Zealand and there are major shipping delays due to Covid-19.

If you believe your package has been lost in transit, please contact the advised courier company directly to start an investigation. We do not replace nor provide a refund for lost packages in transit.  

If your package is returned to us, we will contact you via email and offer the following options:

  1. Resend the package, however additional shipping fees will be required.
  2. Provide a full refund. 

Once your order has been dispatched you will recieved a notification with the tracking ID to your email address.

Please track your snacks by using the tracking ID and courier information provided.

Should you have not received an email within 3 business days please check your junk or spam folder, if you still can't find this information please kindly contact us.
